From Overgrown Block To Set-Out Ready
Site clearing is the first thing a builder needs and the easiest thing to underquote. We walk the block before pricing it: what vegetation has to go and what the council wants kept, where the levels sit against the engineer's design, and how a truck is going to get in and out.
On the day, vegetation and stumps are grubbed out and mulched or carted, old slabs, paths and fences come out as concrete removal, and the block is cut and filled to the required levels and trimmed. For sloping or rocky blocks we bring the rock saw and hammer rather than hiring them in. The same crew can carry on into footing and trench excavation once the builder sets out, and for a new estate lot we can clear and level several blocks in one mobilisation.
