Breaking Out Slabs Without Wrecking The Site
Slabs, driveways, paths and footings come out with the right-sized machine for the access. A 5.5t excavator with a hammer gets through a garage slab and side path without touching the neighbour's fence; the 14.5t and 23.5t machines handle factory floors and thick reinforced slabs where there is room to work.
Concrete is broken into loadable pieces, mesh and reinforcement are separated for scrap, and the rubble is carted on our own trucks to a crushing facility rather than landfill. On larger commercial jobs we can crush on site and reuse the material as base under the new slab, which saves tip fees and import. Slab removal is usually part of a house demolition or site clearing job, but we quote it on its own for driveway replacements and shed removals too.
